Building the Next Generation of Sewing Talent

Sew Fabulous Academy offers a Department of Labor-approved apprenticeship pathway for motivated learners who are ready to move beyond beginner workshops and build real-world sewing skills in alterations, embroidery, and studio-based production.

The program has already graduated three apprentices, and graduates receive a certificate from the Department of Labor.

Angela continues to refine the program into a more structured pathway with three progressive sewing apprenticeship levels that build on one another.

We are also seeking collaborators, funding partners, workforce development partners, and community organizations. Learn more about partnering with us here.

Three Progressive Apprenticeship Levels

Each level builds on the one before it, allowing students to grow at a pace that matches their goals, readiness, and interest. Some apprentices may complete the foundational level and feel fully equipped for the kind of work they want to do. Others may choose to continue into more advanced training.

The goal is to create a pathway that is structured, practical, and flexible enough to support different levels of skill and future opportunity.

LEVEL 01
